The System Operator is the first line of IT support and monitoring. The role covers round-the-clock monitoring of IT infrastructure, including network equipment, servers, Access Control System, CCTV System, biometric and attendance systems, and end-user devices. The Operator logs, tracks and resolves first-level incidents, performs routine checks and backups, and escalates anything beyond L1 scope to the System Supervisor. The Operator does not carry out installation, testing or commissioning of recent systems.
