Key Responsibilities
Operate machine-cutting equipment for jewelry components and parts.
Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters as required.
Read and understand technical drawings, designs, measurements, and work instructions.
Perform accurate cutting, shaping, grooving, and profiling of jewelry components.
Check dimensions and workmanship during and after machine operations.
Ensure proper alignment and positioning of workpieces before cutting.
Identify and correct basic machine-setting or cutting issues.
Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
Minimize material wastage and ensure effective use of metal.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machines.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Coordinate with supervisors and other production departments to meet delivery schedules.
Report machine faults, tool damage, quality issues, or material discrepancies to the supervisor.
