We are looking for a detail-oriented IT QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, defect tracking, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Reproduce, analyze, and validate reported issues.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
Maintain test documentation, test reports, and testing checklists.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs from a testing perspective.
Ensure applications meet quality, performance, usability, and functional requirements.
Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Required Skills
2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
Robust understanding of SDLC and STLC.




Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
Good understanding of bug life cycle and defect management.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman is preferred.
Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is an added advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred
Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting.
Knowledge of API and database testing.
