Software Engineer (PL/SQL & Java)A bit about the roleWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Engineer with expertise in PL/SQL and Java to join our development team in Pune, India. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust database-driven applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for writing efficient code, optimizing database performance, and ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Develop and maintain applications using Java and PL/SQL, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standardsDesign and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries for performance and scalabilityAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and efficient software solutionsCollaborate with team members to review code, identify improvements, and implement best practicesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deploymentTroubleshoot and debug applications, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutionsDocument code functionality, system architecture, and technical processes for team reference and knowledge sharingContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologiesA bit about you**Required Skills & Experience:**Proficiency in PL/SQL with demonstrated experience in database development and query optimizationStrong Java programming skills with solid understanding of object-oriented programming principlesExperience with relational database design, management, and SQL developmentProficiency with version control systems, particularly GitSolid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practicesExperience with code testing, debugging,
