URGENT HIRING | HEAD SALES / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT HEAD

We are hiring for a Head Sales / Business Development Head for a leading German Industrial Automation & Sensor Technology company, responsible for driving Pan-India sales and business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a high-performing Pan-India sales team comprising Area Sales Managers and Market Segment Managers.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base, penetrate recent markets and achieve revenue targets.

• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across General Industries, Automotive and Manufacturing.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposals, negotiations and closures.

• Set sales goals and KPIs while coaching and mentoring the sales team.

• Drive deal reviews, pipeline governance, forecast accuracy and CRM discipline.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Finance and Operations teams.

• Travel across India for customer meetings, industry events and regional business support.





• Co-lead the Monthly Automotive Project Review and align national execution with Automotive segment strategy.

• Work closely with Finance and Operations for sales forecasting.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 15+ years in Sales Head / Business Development roles, preferably in Industrial Automation or a similar industry.

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing sales teams.

• Strong experience handling Pan-India Business Development / Key Accounts / Field Sales.

• Proven experience managing national sales operations and industrial customers.

EDUCATION

Engineering Graduate / PG in E&TC; / Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering.
