A Customer Success Engineer is much more customer-facing:
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- IAM
- Networking
- Compute
- Storage
- Kubernetes services such as EKS, AKS, and GKE
DevSecOps
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Git
- CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code
- API integrations
Customer-facing
- Technical presentations
- Requirements gathering
- Troubleshooting
- Stakeholder management
- Architecture discussions
- Documentation
- Training and enablement
You would likely be expected to:
- Independently manage technically complex customers.
- Lead Prisma Cloud onboarding and adoption.
- Design multi-cloud security architectures.
- Troubleshoot difficult production issues.
- Explain technical findings to both engineers and management.
- Drive remediation and security improvements.
- Mentor other CSEs/engineers.
- Work with product/engineering on difficult customer escalations.
