Role Description The Bakery Master is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing daily baking operations and ensuring consistent product quality. This role involves preparing doughs and batters, baking a variety of items, decorating and finishing products, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. The Bakery Master will develop and test new recipes, customize orders based on customer requirements, manage ingredient inventory, and coordinate production schedules to meet demand. Additional responsibilities include packaging baked goods,



supporting customer queries related to products, and collaborating with the team to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong baking and pastry skills, including dough preparation, baking, and product finishing.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Experience with recipe development, customization of baked goods, and flavor pairing.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple orders, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Attention to detail in presentation, consistency, and quality control.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset for handling personalized requests.
- Prior experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred; formal training in baking or culinary arts is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak festive periods.
