Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Entry Level CA and Accountant at AawazAI. The role involves supporting bookkeeping activities, GST compliance processes, and preparation of financial statements and reports for small business customers using the Aawaz platform. The team member will assist in reconciling GSTR 2B, preparing and reviewing data for GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B filing, and ensuring accuracy of ledgers and transaction records. Day-to-day tasks include validating voice-captured financial data, resolving discrepancies, responding to accounting and GST-related queries,



and coordinating with internal product and operations teams to improve workflows. The role also includes maintaining organized documentation, meeting filing deadlines, and contributing to the development of best practices for accounting operations tailored to micro-businesses.

Person will be validating the software developed by GenCrafter for the correctness.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and preparation of basic financial statements.
- Knowledge of Indian GST regulations, GST returns (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 2B), and compliance timelines.
- Comfort with using digital tools and accounting or ERP software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in handling numerical data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial and GST concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi or regional language) is beneficial for supporting diverse business owners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup workplace and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Educational background such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or semi-qualified CA, B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent degree in finance or accounting.
- Interest in technology-led solutions for small businesses and willingness to engage directly with micro-entrepreneurs.
