Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Federal Proposal Writer role. The Federal Proposal Writer will research and analyze federal opportunities, including RFPs and related documentation, to understand requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance needs. This role will develop, write, and edit proposal content, including technical, management, and past performance sections, while aligning responses with win themes and client capabilities. The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to gather inputs, clarify technical details, and ensure timely completion of all proposal components. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing proposal timelines, organizing content, ensuring adherence to federal guidelines and templates, and supporting quality reviews for clarity, consistency, and compliance.

Qualifications

- Robust proposal lifecycle skills, including Proposal Management and hands-on Proposal Writing for federal opportunities.
- Proficiency in Technical Writing, with the ability to translate complex information into explicit, compelling,



and compliant proposal content.
- Experience interpreting and responding to RFPs, including analyzing requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills, with attention to detail, organization, and consistency across documents.
- At least three years of experience with U.S. federal government proposals (e.g., FAR/DFARS familiarity, federal contracting processes) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work in a structured proposal workplace, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and client teams.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, document version control); experience with proposal management tools is a plus.
