CHEF DE PARTIE – INDIAN CURRY

Job Summary

Antares by RajLaxmi is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Chef de Partie – Indian Curry to independently handle the Indian Curry section and maintain excellent standards of taste, consistency, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage and operate the Indian Curry section during service.
- Prepare authentic Indian curries, gravies, masalas, and other Indian dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure proper mise-en-place and timely preparation for daily operations and service.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and ensure proper storage.
- Supervise and guide Commis and junior kitchen staff in the section.
- Coordinate effectively with the Sous Chef and other kitchen sections during service.
- Control food wastage and maintain proper portion control.




- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the section at all times.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in Indian cuisine, preferably with reputed hotels, resorts, or premium restaurants.
- Strong expertise in Indian Curry and regional Indian cuisine.
- Should be capable of independently handling the section during busy operations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian gravies, spices, masalas, cooking techniques, and standard recipes.
- Experience in supervising Commis and junior kitchen staff.
- Good understanding of food cost, portion control, hygiene, and wastage management.
- Robust teamwork, discipline, and ability to work under pressure.
- Candidates with a stable work history and experience in reputed hospitality establishments will be preferred.

Pay: ₹9,200.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
