- Production & Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end press operations (pre-press, press, and post-press) to ensure delivery schedules and quality benchmarks are met. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality Control & Color Management: Implement and monitor strict color management protocols, spectrophotometry, and print-standard compliances (e.g., G7, ISO standards). [1, 2]
- Material & Inks R&D;: Conduct testing on substrates, solvent/water/UV-based inks, and packaging metrics (bursting strength, tensile modulus, tear resistance, and viscosity). [1]
- Process Optimization & Wastage Reduction: Analyze shop-floor data to minimize material wastage, lower production costs, and upgrade machinery efficiency. [1]
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Lead technical troubleshooting for complex machinery,



substrates, and chemical/rheological ink issues. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership & Training: Train floor engineers, supervisors, and operators on modern printing technologies and safety compliance guidelines. [1, 2]
- Innovation & New Projects: Collaborate with clients, design agencies, and R&D; teams to introduce novel packaging structures or digital/hybrid print solutions. [1, 2, 3]
