Role Overview

The Engineer – QA/QC (RMC) is responsible for executing day-to-day quality control activities related to raw materials, concrete production, testing, and dispatch at the RMC plant and project sites. The role ensures that all concrete supplied conforms to approved mix designs, IS standards and QCI certification requirements. The position supports mix trials, plant audits, site technical support, complaint resolution, and accurate maintenance of quality records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out concrete mix design implementation and assist in trial mixes and plant trials.• Perform routine testing of raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) and fresh & hardened concrete.• Monitor batching, slump, cube casting, curing and strength results.• Ensure adherence to approved SOPs, ITPs and QCI guidelines.• Inspect outgoing concrete for grade, workability and compliance before dispatch.• Coordinate with plant production team to ensure quality consistency.• Attend site visits for technical support, concreting inspections and complaint investigation.• Prepare and maintain test reports, cube registers and material approval records.• Assist in NCR preparation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.• Support QCI audits, internal audits and documentation control.• Monitor material consumption, yield and wastage.• Ensure calibration of laboratory and batching plant equipment as per schedule.

durability)• Mix design and trial mix records• Daily production and quality logs• Cube register and compressive strength reports• NCR and corrective action reports• QCI audit and compliance records• Calibration and equipment verification records• Site inspection and complaint closure reports• Monthly quality summary and consumption reports

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering• 3–7 years of experience in RMC QA/QC• Positive knowledge of IS 456, IS 10262, IS 383 and QCI RMC norms• Hands-on experience in concrete testing, batching plant operations and site coordination• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation• Willingness to travel to sites and multiple plants

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
