About the Role

We are looking for an experienced NPD Head – Health & Wellness to lead end-to-end product innovation, formulation development, and commercialization across nutraceuticals, vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, and wellness products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the NPD pipeline from concept ideation to product launch.
- Drive formulation development, ingredient selection, and product differentiation.
- Manage third-party manufacturers, R&D; labs, and ingredient suppliers.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including FSSAI requirements, labeling, and product claims.
- Own product costing, BOM, COGS, vendor negotiations, and margin optimization.
- Oversee stability testing, quality validation, packaging development, and manufacturing scale-up.
- Track market trends, competitor innovations, and emerging wellness ingredients.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Quality,



Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely launches.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience in NPD/R&D; within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or health and wellness.
- Strong understanding of formulations, active ingredients, herbal extracts, and delivery formats.
- Hands-on experience with third-party manufacturing and product commercialization.
- Knowledge of FSSAI regulations, product claims, quality standards, and documentation.
- Solid commercial acumen, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
