About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java / Cloud Platform Engineer to build platform tools and services that enable product engineering teams to deploy and run applications such as data pipelines, analytical applications, and microservices on cloud platforms.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong professional coding experience in Java / J2EE
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles and J2EE Design Patterns
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with NoSQL databases and MQ / Kafka
- Experience with Unit and Integration Testing




- Hands-on experience with Docker/LXC and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, or Docker Swarm
- Strong experience with AWS cloud platform
- Experience with CI/CD practices and frameworks
- Strong understanding of application architecture and System Design
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Good understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk

Nice to Have

- Linux and networking knowledge
- Cloud design patterns, APIs, and security
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, or similar tools

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain platform tools and services for product engineering teams
- Develop scalable backend services using Java/J2EE
- Design and implement REST APIs and cloud-native solutions
- Work with containers and orchestration platforms
- Implement automated Unit and Integration Testing
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment automation
- Participate in application architecture and system design
- Implement monitoring and observability for APIs and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
