Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team at D’LIFE Interiors, Anna Nagar, Chennai. The candidate will assist in developing residential interior design concepts, preparing 2D layouts and 3D designs, selecting materials, and coordinating with project and site teams to deliver functional and aesthetically appealing interiors.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in designing residential interiors, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, and living spaces.
- Prepare 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, and detailed working drawings.
- Create 3D models and visualizations using relevant interior design software.
- Assist with material selection, colour combinations, laminates, finishes, and lighting.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements when required.
- Coordinate with senior designers, project managers, and site execution teams.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain design drawings, material specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure assigned design tasks are completed within project timelines.




- Follow current interior design trends and apply suitable design solutions to residential projects.

Skills and Qualifications

- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in interior design, preferably in residential interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of rendering software is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, and interior finishes.
- Strong creativity, visualization, and attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
