Job Title: All-Rounder Cook (Tandoor Specialist)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking All-Rounder Cook specializing in Tandoor to join our restaurant kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of tandoori cooking, Indian cuisine, food preparation, and kitchen operations. The candidate must be able to prepare delicious, high-quality food while maintaining hygiene and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of tandoori dishes, including tandoori roti, naan, kulcha, kebabs, tandoori chicken, and other tandoor items.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.
- Prepare marinades, sauces, gravies, and other ingredients required for cooking.
- Handle basic Indian curry, starter, and other kitchen preparations as required.
- Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and tandoor station.
- Monitor ingredient stock and inform the kitchen manager when supplies are running low.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food storage procedures.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service.




- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper kitchen discipline.

Requirements

- Previous experience as an All-Rounder Cook or Tandoori Cook is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and Indian cuisine.
- Ability to prepare naan, roti, kebabs, and other tandoori specialties.
- Knowledge of basic curry, gravy, and starter preparation is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Good teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
- Must be punctual, responsible, hygienic, and hardworking.

- Working Hours: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, including 2 hours of rest.
- Benefits: Food and accommodation provided.
- Salary: 20000-25000
