SPECIAL EDUCATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:

- Support students with special educational needs and learning difficulties.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Use inclusive teaching methods and individualized learning strategies.
- Assess students’ progress and maintain academic records.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school counsellors.
- Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Create a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- Valid RCI registration, where applicable.
- Relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices.

Required Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
- Knowledge of special education teaching methods and IEPs.
- Classroom management and student assessment skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents and teachers.
- Strong problem-solving and observation skills.
- Ability to support students with diverse learning needs.
