Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Accounts & Accounts Payable skilled to manage end-to-end accounting and AP activities for the client's Hassan Plant, Karnataka.

The candidate will be responsible for plant-level accounting, vendor payments, statutory compliance support, expense management, CapEx, inventory accounting, MIS reporting, and audit coordination. The role requires strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, MS Excel, accounting principles, GST, TDS/TCS, and the ability to communicate effectively in Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end plant accounting and Accounts Payable (AP) activities in accordance with defined SOPs and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Validate contracts, Purchase Orders (POs), GRNs, invoices, approvals, and supporting documents before accounting.
- Monitor vendor ageing, payment due dates, MSME payments, and advance adjustments.
- Review and process employee travel and reimbursement claims through the expense management system and SAP.
- Ensure appropriate GST, TDS, and TCS treatment and provide accurate information to Head Office for statutory filings.
- Monitor budgeted and unbudgeted expenses and prepare Budget vs. Actual (BVA) analysis.
- Ensure accurate cost-centre allocation and plant expense classification.
- Monitor CapEx, CWIP ageing, project expenditure, and support timely capitalization of assets.
- Monitor inventory consumption, inventory ageing, reconciliations, and physical verification.
- Support job-work, stock transfers, and related accounting and documentation activities.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports covering AP, advances, expenses, CapEx, inventory, and other key plant-level financial metrics.




- Support statutory and internal audits and ensure timely submission and closure of audit requirements.
- Identify process deviations, internal control weaknesses, and financial risks, and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in plant accounting, accounts payable, manufacturing accounting, or a similar role.
- Experience working in a plant/manufacturing workplace will be preferred.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and TCS.
- Experience in Accounts Payable and vendor reconciliation.
- Understanding of CapEx, CWIP, inventory accounting, and MIS reporting.
- Ability to identify accounting discrepancies and control/process gaps.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory – reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Work Location & Travel Requirements

The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the client's Hassan Plant, Karnataka.

Depending on business requirements and workload, the candidate may also be required to support and travel to the client's plants in Pune, Maharashtra, and Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

- Official inter-office/location travel will be required as and when necessary.
- Travel, food, and accommodation expenses for official travel will be reimbursed or arranged by the client/company, as applicable.
- The candidate should be comfortable with inter-location travel when required.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month
