Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT & MRI Technician to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using advanced CT and MRI equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT and MRI machines to perform imaging procedures as per physician requests.
- Ensure patient safety by following appropriate protocols and guidelines during imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining the procedure, ensuring they are comfortable, and providing necessary instructions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, and report any anomalies or issues to the supervising radiologist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data using hospital information systems.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with advancements in imaging technology.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid certification or license to operate CT and MRI equipment.
- Experience working in CT and MRI imaging preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced workplace.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
