Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager with solid expertise in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, MIS, audit, and financial controls. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete finance and accounting function, leading the finance team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

- Manage end-to-end accounting and finance operations of the organization.
- Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts.
- Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor daily cash flow, fund movements, receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of investment-related transactions, where applicable.

Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS, variance analysis, and financial dashboards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to the management for business decision-making.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify key variances.
- Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

Taxation & Compliance

- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory advisors.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payments.
- Maintain proper documentation for tax assessments and regulatory requirements.

Audit & Controls

- Manage and coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and financial audits.




- Act as the primary finance contact for auditors and external consultants.
- Ensure proper internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate control measures.
- Resolve audit observations and ensure timely closure of compliance issues.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.
- Allocate responsibilities, review work, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Train and mentor team members on accounting processes and financial controls.
- Establish efficient SOPs and processes for the finance function.

Management & Strategic Support

- Work closely with the Directors/CEO/Management on financial matters.
- Provide financial insights for business planning and strategic decisions.
- Monitor profitability, expenses, cash flow, and overall financial health of the organization.
- Assist management in developing annual budgets, financial projections, and business plans.
- Support due diligence, fundraising, investor reporting, and financial data requirements, as applicable.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
- 7–12+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Financial Services, NBFC, Capital Markets, Broking, Wealth Management, or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing and leading a finance/accounting team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage the finance function and work closely with senior management.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
