Job Summary

Inticore Engineering Private Limited is looking for a skilled CNC Setter cum Operator with experience in CNC machining and precision engineering components. The candidate will be responsible for machine setting, tool setting, program loading, dimensional inspection, and achieving production and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Set and operate CNC Turning / VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting, work offset setting, and job loading.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.
- Load and make minor modifications to CNC programs as required.
- Select and set appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure components meet drawing specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor cutting parameters, tool wear, and machining conditions.
- Make necessary offset corrections to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Identify and resolve basic machining and quality-related issues.
- Maintain production and inspection records.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, work instructions,



and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and basic machine care.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in CNC machine setting and operation.
- Knowledge of CNC Turning and VMC operations.
- Good knowledge of tool setting and offset correction.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic machining and dimensional issues.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in shaft components, automotive components, precision machining, transmission components, or similar engineering/manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience in tight-tolerance components and batch production will be an added advantage.

Education

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Machining Technology, or a related technical discipline.
