Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and passionate IELTS Trainer to join our team in Chennai. As an IELTS Trainer, you will be responsible for teaching students helping them improve their English language skills, preparation strategies, and guiding them through the various sections of the IELTS / PTE test (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular classes for students preparing for the IELTS / PTE / TOEFL Test.
- Teaching English language skills and providing feedback on students’ progress.
- Planning and preparing lesson plans and study materials for different levels of students' performance.
- Administering mock tests to evaluate students’ preparedness.
- Providing individualized support to students struggling with specific areas of the IELTS test.
- Staying updated with the latest IELTS and similar test patterns and ensuring that the students are aware of any changes.
- Encouraging a positive and productive learning workplace.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or IELTS/PTE/TOEFL Trainer certification preferred).
- Previous experience in teaching IELTS preparation classes is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English language with a focus on communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students.
- Good knowledge of the IELTS exam format and structure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, with availability to conduct weekend or evening classes if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience in IELTS.
- Certifications (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or IELTS/PTE/TOEFL Trainer certification preferred).
- Familiarity with online teaching tools or platforms.
- Ability to customize lessons based on individual student needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
