Job Overview

SpiderWorks Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented SEO Medical Content Writer who can create accurate, engaging, and search-engine-optimized medical and healthcare content. The ideal candidate should have solid writing and research skills, an understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to simplify complex medical information for different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and write high-quality medical and healthcare content for websites, blogs, articles, and landing pages.
- Create SEO-friendly content using relevant keywords and search intent.
- Write content on medical conditions, treatments, healthcare services, wellness, and related topics.
- Conduct thorough research using reliable medical sources and ensure factual accuracy.
- Optimize existing website content using on-page SEO techniques.
- Write compelling meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, digital marketing teams, and subject-matter experts.
- Follow Google’s E-E-A-T principles and healthcare content quality guidelines.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, readability, originality, and consistency.
- Update existing content based on SEO performance, keyword trends,



and content requirements.
- Ensure medical content is evidence-based and does not include misleading health claims.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, Medical Writing, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content writing, preferably in medical or healthcare content.
- Strong knowledge of SEO content writing and keyword optimization.
- Understanding of on-page SEO, search intent, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to research medical topics using credible sources.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Surfer SEO is an advantage.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content assignments.

Preferred Experience

- Experience writing medical blogs, healthcare website content, or patient education materials.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare content standards.
- Experience optimizing existing content for organic search traffic.
- A background in medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences content is an added advantage.
