Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rising Sun Child Therapy Center. The physiotherapist will work with infants and children who have developmental delays, neurological conditions, and physical disabilities. The role involves assessing motor development, designing individualized physiotherapy programs, and supporting children to improve movement, strength, and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct physiotherapy assessments to evaluate motor development, posture, muscle tone, strength, and mobility in children.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
- Provide therapy for children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, muscular disorders, and neurological conditions.
- Use therapeutic exercises, positioning techniques, gait training, and functional activities to improve motor skills.
- Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and special educators to ensure comprehensive care.




- Educate and train parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and positioning techniques.
- Maintain accurate therapy records, progress notes, and assessment reports.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution.
- Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT – Paediatrics/Neurology) preferred.
- Valid registration with the Physiotherapy Council (if applicable).

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy preferred.
- Freshers with clinical training in paediatric rehabilitation may also apply.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of paediatric motor development and rehabilitation techniques.
- Robust clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Good communication skills with children and parents.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and child-friendly approach.
