Job Summary

Navera Builders Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience working in builders, construction companies, or real estate companies. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial records, reconciliations, billing, statutory compliance, and supporting project-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, purchase entries, and journal entries.
- Maintain customer, vendor, contractor, and supplier accounts.
- Handle site/project-related accounting and expense records.
- Verify and record purchase bills, material bills, contractor bills, and service invoices.
- Maintain proper records of construction-related expenses and payments.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and vendor/contractor payables.
- Prepare payment statements and outstanding reports.
- Coordinate with site teams, purchase, stores, sales, and management regarding accounts-related matters.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting documents for all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports and management reports.
- Assist with payroll-related accounting and statutory deductions.
- Support internal and external audits.




- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.

Construction / Builder Industry Experience

The candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting activities related to building and construction projects, including:

- Contractor and subcontractor billing
- Site expenses and petty cash
- Material purchase and supplier payments
- Project-wise expense tracking
- Customer collections
- Work-related advances and settlements
- Purchase bills and verification
- Construction material accounting
- Vendor and contractor reconciliation

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good understanding of ledger, bank, cash, vendor, and customer reconciliation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in builders, construction companies, or real estate companies.

Candidates with experience in construction project accounting will be preferred.
