Accountant – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with around 2 years of experience to handle day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and assist with statutory compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain bank, cash, and ledger accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables/payables.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare GST-related data and assist with GST return filing.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.




- Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents.
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate and up to date.
- Perform other finance and accounting tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Tally, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and Excel will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
