Special Educator should be expert problem solvers with good diagnostic skills. This requires a highly analytical mindset and the ability to understand people on a psychoanalytic level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate and Reporting to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for action plan for the school,
- Counselling children’s and parents,
- Applied various Psychometric testing and treatment,
- Plan workshops
- Teach special children
- Design IEP’s for individual special need child.
- Conducting sessions and workshop with Children, Parents and Teachers.
- Create and maintain database of counselling cases.
Skills Required
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with patients.
- Highly analytical mindset.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree/ Post graduation degree In Psychology.
- B.Ed in Special Education is compulsory
- 2 years of experience of working as a special educator and experience of working with special children
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
