Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Sales & Marketing with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the furniture industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to drive sales growth, develop effective marketing strategies, and lead a high-performing sales team.

The candidate will be responsible for expanding the customer base, developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and organizational targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, B2B, corporate, institutional, and project-based furniture sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, dealers, and corporate clients.
- Drive showroom sales, furniture sales, and interior project business development.
- Monitor sales performance, lead conversion, customer acquisition, and team productivity.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.




- Develop market expansion strategies and identify new customer segments and business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with the Design, Project Management, Production, Purchase, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Establish effective lead-generation, follow-up, negotiation, and customer relationship management processes.
- Conduct regular team reviews, provide coaching, and improve sales team performance.
- Strengthen brand visibility through promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, networking, and business partnerships.
- Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations, order confirmations, collections, and customer feedback.
- Report sales performance, business challenges, and growth opportunities to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.




- Solid business development and client relationship management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and improve revenue growth.
- Good knowledge of furniture products, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Strong analytical, planning, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sales channels and build long-term business relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, sales reporting, and CRM systems is an advantage.
