Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to handle on-site execution and supervision of storm water drainage and civil infrastructure works in Tiruppur.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in government civil construction projects, particularly RCC drains, storm water drainage systems, excavation, concrete works and site management. The candidate must be capable of coordinating site teams, monitoring work progress and ensuring quality execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute storm water drain and civil infrastructure works at the project site.
- Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, technical specifications and project schedules.
- Monitor excavation, earthwork, PCC, RCC, masonry and drainage structure construction.
- Supervise open drains, box drains, roadside drains and underground drainage works.
- Ensure correct measurements, levels, alignment, slope and dimensions during execution.
- Coordinate daily activities with junior engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and labour teams.
- Plan manpower,



materials and equipment requirements to maintain work progress.
- Review construction drawings and BOQ to ensure proper site execution.
- Check work quantities and maintain site measurement records.
- Monitor the quality of materials and finished construction work.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project management on site activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and government department representatives.
- Identify site execution issues and arrange timely corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety procedures and site regulations.
- Guide site workers and junior engineers to achieve project targets.
- Maintain site records, work reports and other project documentation.
