Precise Speciality Eye Care is looking for a qualified and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our team at our PMG Junction, Trivandrum location. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in biomedical engineering, with knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety standards. Experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmic equipment handling will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot medical and ophthalmic equipment.
- Ensure the proper functioning and safety of medical devices.
- Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain records of equipment maintenance, calibration, and service history.
- Coordinate with hospital departments and external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable medical equipment safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of medical equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.
- Relevant work experience in a hospital, preferably an eye hospital, is desirable.
- Good technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and technical teams.
