Job Summary

LegalRaasta Technologies Private Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IPR Intern / IPR Paralegal to support its legal team in trademark filings, renewals, legal documentation, research, and intellectual property-related matters. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of trademark procedures, strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and valuable communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Trademark Management: Assist in trademark applications, filings, renewals, and related documentation.
- Legal Drafting: Prepare and assist in drafting replies to examination reports, affidavits, legal notices, and other IPR-related documents under the guidance of senior paralegals and advocates.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research on trademarks, intellectual property laws, and related legal matters.
- Legal Proceedings: Assist with Legal Proceeding Certificates (LPCs), opposition matters, hearings, and other trademark-related proceedings, as assigned.
- IP Records Management: Monitor, organize, update, and maintain trademark records, application details, deadlines, and case files.
- Document Management: Scan, arrange, verify, and maintain legal documents and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Client Coordination: Communicate with clients through calls and emails to collect information, documents, and updates regarding their IPR matters.
- Team Support: Provide legal and administrative support to senior paralegals, advocates, and the wider IPR team.
- Data Management:



Maintain accurate records and trackers using MS Excel and other office tools.
- Deadline Monitoring: Track filing deadlines, renewals, examination reports, and other important dates to ensure timely action.
- Additional Responsibilities: Assist the legal team with other IPR-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate in Law (LL.B.) or pursuing a law degree; law graduates and final-year law students are preferred.
- Basic understanding of trademark filing procedures, renewals, examination reports, and related legal documentation.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), especially trademarks, will be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior legal professionals.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with prior internship or experience in trademark/IPR work will be preferred.
- Familiarity with the IP India Trademark Registry portal will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with client coordination and legal documentation.
