Viewings.co.nz is a New Zealand-based property technology startup building an innovative platform that connects home seekers, property managers, real estate agents and private property owners.

Our platform includes property searches, viewing bookings, applications, agreements, notifications and other property-related services.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Senior Flutter Developer who can take ownership of our mobile applications, work independently and collaborate with our existing development team.

Number One Mandatory Requirement – Live iOS & Android Apps

You MUST have personally developed or significantly contributed to Flutter applications that are currently LIVE and published on BOTH:

- Apple App Store (iOS)
- Google Play Store (Android)

Applicants must provide working links to live applications on both platforms and clearly explain their personal contributions.

Experience with app deployment, publishing, updates, testing, bug fixing and production maintenance is essential.

Applicants without verifiable live Flutter applications on BOTH platforms will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and improve our existing Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Review existing code, identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Develop new features and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Implement authentication, push notifications, maps, booking workflows and other mobile functionality.
- Ensure applications are responsive, fast, reliable and user-friendly.
- Identify, investigate and resolve bugs across different mobile devices and operating systems.
- Conduct functional, regression and performance testing.
- Manage application builds, testing, deployment and updates on both app stores.
- Collaborate with backend developers, QA testers and product stakeholders.
- Review code and suggest improvements to architecture, security and performance.
- Take ownership of assigned work and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Provide transparent progress updates and communicate blockers early.
- Use AI development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing and productivity.

Required Technical Skills





- Minimum 2+ years of professional Flutter and Dart development experience, with 3–5+ years preferred.
- Proven experience with production Flutter applications published on both iOS and Android.
- Strong knowledge of Flutter architecture and state management, including Bloc, Provider or Riverpod.
- Experience with REST API integration, JSON, authentication and secure data handling.
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of responsive UI, performance optimisation and mobile app lifecycle management.
- Experience with Git, GitHub and collaborative development.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Google Play Console, App Store Connect and production release processes.
- Experience with automated testing and maintaining production-quality code.
- Good spoken and written English is mandatory.

Additional Skills – Highly Desirable

- Full-stack development experience using React, Node.js, Laravel or similar technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment automation.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with booking systems, SaaS platforms, marketplaces or property technology.
- Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews or leading technical delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile development, sprint planning, bug tracking and task management.

- Remote role.
- Preference for candidates based in Surat, Gujarat, India or Sri Lanka.
- Full-time and part-time applications are welcome.
- Must be available for scheduled meetings overlapping with New Zealand business hours.
- Flexible arrangements depending on experience and availability.
