- Position: PRT – Mathematics (Primary Teacher)
- Target Age Group: Primary School Students (Classes I to V / Ages 6–11)
- Job Purpose: To build strong foundational numeracy, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills while creating an engaging, joyful, and child-centred learning environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Lesson Planning

- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate Math lessons aligned with the school’s prescribed curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, or International boards).
- Introduce fundamental concepts like number sense, basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), fractions, measurement, geometry, time, and money.
- Use activity-based learning, manipulatives, and real-life examples to make abstract math concepts simple and fun for kids.

Student Assessment & Support

- Design formative and summative assessments, quizzes, and class assignments to track student progress.
- Grade test papers and provide constructive, positive feedback.




- Identify slow learners or students needing extra help and provide remedial support.

Classroom Management & Communication

- Maintain a protected, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Partner with parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to report on student academic development.
- Collaborate with fellow primary teachers and coordinators on school events and curriculum updates.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Elementary Education (D.El.Ed. / J.B.T.), often combined with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Science.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience teaching primary mathematics is preferred, though exceptional freshers with strong communication skills are often considered.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Patience, creativity, and a strong passion for working with young children
