Job Summary

We are looking for a Lab Technician to support laboratory operations and routine diagnostic activities at our healthcare facility in Dasarahalli, Bangalore. Candidates with previous hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples according to established procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as assigned.
- Operate laboratory equipment and follow appropriate testing procedures.
- Record and maintain accurate test results and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and laboratory materials.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Follow quality-control, safety, and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area.




- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff regarding laboratory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and test-related information.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
- Hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of routine laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Valuable attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates available to join at short notice are preferred.
