Role Summary:

The Project Engineer manages day-to-day activities at the construction site, prepares structural drawings, ensures plans are executed accurately on site, and prepares quantity estimates. The role bridges design and execution, so work is built as drawn, on schedule, within budget, and safely.

*Key Responsibilities*

- Follow up daily site activities and track progress against the work schedule.
- Coordinate site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Monitor material availability, deliveries, and equipment needs, and raise shortages early.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site diaries, and measurement records.
- Prepare structural drawings, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and reinforcement details.
- Review architectural, structural, and services drawings to resolve clashes before work starts.
- Update drawings for site changes and issue revised and as-built drawings.
- Verify that work matches approved drawings and specifications, including setting out, levels, dimensions, and reinforcement placement.
- Inspect formwork, rebar, and concrete work before pouring and approve or hold work accordingly.
- Report deviations, rework, and design queries promptly and follow up to closure.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and BOQs.
- Prepare material requirement lists and support purchase requests.
- Measure completed work for progress billing and subcontractor payments.
- Report progress, issues,



and risks to the Project Manager and communicate with the client and consultants as needed.
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers use proper PPE and safe methods.
- Support documentation for approvals, inspections, and handover.

*Qualifications Required*

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural specialization is an advantage).
- 1 to 3 years of site experience in building or general construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for structural drafting and detailing.
- Strong skills in quantity surveying and estimation, including BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of relevant structural and construction codes and standards.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Project or similar scheduling tools Preferred
- Experience with Autocad, Sketchup, MS Office.
- Can speak English, Malayalam and Hindi

- Primarily Office Based, with time in Sites.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
