Job Title: General Manager (GM)

Department: Operations
Reports To: Managing Director (MD)

Job Responsibilities

- Overall Operations: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel/resort.
- Staff Management: Supervise employees, assign duties, monitor attendance, and ensure staff discipline.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure excellent guest service and handle guest complaints professionally.
- Room Management: Ensure all rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy.
- Property Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of rooms, gardens, public areas, and facilities.
- Task Monitoring: Monitor employee tasks, deadlines, performance, and completion reports.
- Revenue Management: Monitor room occupancy, room rates, expenses, and revenue performance.
- Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve property issues promptly.
- Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the MD.
- Staff Coordination: Coordinate with reception, housekeeping, maintenance, accounts, and other departments.
- Standards and Compliance: Ensure the property follows company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational issues and take corrective action.
- Online Reviews:



Monitor Google reviews and OTA reviews and improve guest satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock, purchases, and wastage to control operating costs.
- Management Updates: Keep the MD informed about important issues, staff performance, expenses, and property requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel or resort operations preferred.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of hotel ERP/PMS software.
- Ability to manage staff and solve operational problems.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and guest-focused.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule when required.

- Room readiness and cleanliness.
- Guest satisfaction and online reviews.
- Employee attendance and task completion.
- Room occupancy and revenue performance.
- Maintenance issue resolution.
- Expense control and inventory management.
- Timely submission of reports to the MD.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
