About Neometrix Defence

Neometrix Defence Ltd. (founded 2003 by an IIT Kanpur engineer; ~100 engineers) designs and manufactures test systems, test rigs and ground support equipment for the Indian Air Force, Army and Navy, HAL, DRDO and other defence and PSU customers, with export programmes delivered to the United Kingdom and Germany. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified, DGAQA approved and an NSIC-registered MSME. Every machine is designed, built, tested and commissioned by our own engineers at our works in Sector-63, Noida.

The role

You will turn complex engineering into stories people want to watch. You will sit with our engineers, understand what a machine does and why it matters, and write the script that explains it in under a minute — starting with a hook and ending with the bigger picture: the aircraft, vehicle or system it serves. You will also write the captions, posts and articles that go with each video.

Key responsibilities

Scripts

- Research each machine with our engineers and write scripts for 30–60 second reels and longer YouTube videos: hook, explanation, pay-off

- Explain the engineering accurately and in plain language — what the machine tests, the physics behind it, and the larger system it supports

- Write shot lists and on-screen text with the videographer, and voice-over scripts where needed

Written content

- Write captions, LinkedIn posts and articles, website product copy and careers content

- Plan the content calendar with the social media executive and keep a bank of video ideas

Accuracy and clearance





- Check every technical fact with the responsible engineer before publishing

- Write within the security clearance list, and flag anything that may need review

Who we are looking for

- 1–2 years’ experience writing technical content, video scripts or explainers — for a YouTube channel, ed-tech, engineering media or technical marketing

- B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Electronics) strongly preferred; graduates from other disciplines with strong technical writing samples will be considered

- Excellent written English; the ability to script in Hindi is an advantage

- A clear understanding of hooks, retention and storytelling in short-form video

- Writing samples are mandatory: three scripts, articles or videos you wrote

- An advantage: comfortable on camera or doing voice-overs

Confidentiality

Much of our work is for defence customers. Every piece of content is published only after an internal security review, some machines and sites cannot be shown at all, and you will sign a confidentiality agreement on joining. If you like rules that are explicit in advance, you will find this easy.

Selection

Portfolio review, a short practical test, then an in-person interview at our Noida works. Shortlisted candidates will write a 45second script on one of our machines from a one-page technical brief.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
