Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Inside Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.

The role will act as a critical link between customer requirements, engineering expertise, and business growth, providing technically sound and commercially viable automation solutions.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with OEMs, Machine Builders, System Integrators, or Industrial End Users and possess solid knowledge of automation products and solution-based selling.

Your Impact

As an Inside Technical Sales Engineer, you will:

- Understand customer and machine requirements.
- Recommend suitable automation solutions.
- Support technical sales and solution development.
- Prepare technical proposals and quotations.
- Perform product selection, sizing and configuration.
- Work closely with sales, application and engineering teams.
- Support customer meetings, technical discussions and demonstrations.
- Contribute to opportunity qualification and business growth.

Selection Criteria

- 3–7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.
- Experience with OEMs, Machine Builders, System Integrators, or Industrial End Users.
- Exposure to industries such as:
- Packaging
- FMCG
- Converting
- Printing
- Textiles
- Robotics
- Material Handling
- Experience with product sizing,



selection and configuration tools.
- Familiarity with SAP, CRM platforms, Visio and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of technical sales, quotations and solution-selling methodologies.

- Partner with Sales Engineers and customers to develop innovative automation solutions.
- Analyze machine applications and recommend the optimal combination of:

- Geared Motors
- Perform product selection, sizing, configuration and technical feasibility analysis.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution concepts and customer presentations.
- Support opportunity qualification and value-based solution selling.
- Collaborate with application experts to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations and site visits.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and support opportunity management activities.
