About the Role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Design and Product Development team at ChildWood Play Pvt Ltd.

The role involves creating and improving furniture and products from the initial idea to the final manufacturing stage. Freshers with good design skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 2D drawings, 3D models and product designs.
- Use tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp and 3D rendering software.
- Develop prototypes and make design changes based on feedback.
- Select suitable materials, colours, finishes and manufacturing methods.
- Improve existing products based on customer and market requirements.
- Prepare product specifications, BOMs and technical drawings.
- Work with production, sales and vendors to make sure designs can be manufactured properly.





What We're Looking For

- Knowledge of product, furniture or industrial design.
- Good understanding of 2D drawings and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with any 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks or SketchUp is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Creative thinking and good attention to detail.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio of product or furniture designs is an advantage.
