Job Summary

Distrikt 9 Hotels & Resorts is looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Executive to manage and support the hotel's day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate should have experience in hotel IT systems, with hands-on knowledge of IDS (Hotel Management/PMS software). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of hotel systems, networks, computers, software, and other technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day IT support to all hotel departments.
- Manage and support the IDS hotel management system (PMS).
- Troubleshoot IDS-related issues and coordinate with the software support team when required.
- Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions.
- Maintain computers, printers, POS systems, network equipment, and other IT devices.
- Provide technical support to Front Office, F&B;, Accounts, HR, Housekeeping, and other departments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery when required.
- Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, and equipment records.
- Ensure antivirus, security updates, and system updates are maintained.
- Support hotel applications and systems used for daily operations.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT issues, equipment, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with CCTV, access control, telephone/PBX, and other hotel technology systems where applicable.




- Ensure IT systems remain secure, reliable, and available for hotel operations.
- Provide technical assistance during events, conferences, and other hotel activities.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Hands-on experience with IDS hotel management software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, printers, and basic network configuration.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong customer-service attitude when supporting hotel staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide IT support when required during hotel operations.
