Job Summary

National Institute of Management and Science invites applications from motivated, qualified, and result-oriented candidates for the position of Educational Counsellor at its Madurai campus. The selected candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students and parents, providing accurate information about academic programmes, managing admission enquiries, and supporting the institution's admission objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programmes, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, and career prospects.

- Handle student enquiries through telephone calls, walk-ins, and other communication channels.

- Follow up with prospective students to facilitate admission conversions.

- Explain course details, fee structures, and institutional policies professionally.

- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admission activities.

- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure an efficient admission process.

- Work towards achieving admission targets established by the management.





- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in any discipline.

- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong counselling, persuasion, and follow-up abilities.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation.

- Prior experience in educational counselling, student admissions, or customer relationship management will be an added advantage.
