Job Title: Purchase Engineer (Mechanical)

Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer with strong experience in procurement of machines, spare parts, equipment, and CapEx items. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost optimization, and timely procurement aligned with technical and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle procurement of machinery, equipment, spare parts, and CapEx items
- Identify and develop recent vendors for mechanical components and equipment
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations, and perform techno-commercial comparisons
- Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms
- Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams for requirements
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials as per project schedules




- Maintain proper documentation and procurement records
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, machinery, and industrial equipment
- Experience in CapEx procurement and vendor negotiation
- Good understanding of technical specifications and drawings
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Profile:

- Candidates from manufacturing / EPC / machinery / equipment industries
- Exposure to industrial procurement and project-based purchasing
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
