The Academic Head is the vision driver of the institution’s academic excellence, responsible for curriculum planning, faculty performance, student outcomes, and implementation of creative teaching methodologies. The role ensures that the school delivers high-quality, future-ready education aligned with institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Planning & Strategy

- Design and implement annual academic plans and calendars
- Align curriculum with CBSE/board guidelines and 21st-century skills
- Integrate AI-based, experiential, and activity-based learning models
- Monitor syllabus completion and lesson planning

2. Curriculum Development

- Oversee curriculum design across all grades
- Ensure concept clarity, depth, and application-based learning
- Introduce interdisciplinary learning & project-based modules
- Review and upgrade teaching content periodically

3. Faculty Management & Development

- Conduct teacher observations (daily/weekly rounds)
- Plan and execute teacher training & workshops
- Monitor lesson delivery, classroom management, and engagement
- Build a culture of accountability, discipline, and innovation

4. Student Performance & Outcomes

- Track academic performance, results, and progress reports
- Analyze data to identify learning gaps and improvement areas
- Drive initiatives for weak students & high achievers
- Ensure strong board results and competitive exam readiness

5. School Operations (Academic Side)

- Ensure smooth functioning of:
- Timetables
- Substitution plans
- Examination schedules
- Assessment frameworks
- Supervise coordinators and incharges (Primary, Middle, Senior)

6. Quality Control & Monitoring

- Conduct:
- Class audits
- Notebook checking audits
- Lesson plan reviews
- Maintain academic discipline and standards




- Ensure compliance with school policies and board norms

7. Innovation & School Growth

- Introduce new programs like:
- Personality development
- Public speaking & communication
- Clubs & experiential learning
- Implement technology in classrooms (AI tools, smart classes)
- Drive initiatives like:
- School podcast
- Olympiads
- Global exposure programs (e.g., Singapore trip)

8. Parent & Stakeholder Communication

- Address academic concerns of parents
- Conduct:
