Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, professional, and organized Receptionist cum OT Technician to manage front-desk operations and assist the medical team with operation theatre preparation, patient handling, and procedural support while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Reception & Front Desk Management

- Welcome and attend to patients professionally.
- Manage patient registrations, appointments, follow-up calls, and inquiries.
- Maintain patient records, billing coordination, and appointment schedules.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth patient flow.
- Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and basic administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records.

2. OT Technician Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Arrange instruments, equipment, consumables, and required supplies.
- Assist doctors and qualified clinical staff during procedures within the scope of training and competence.
- Follow sterilization, disinfection, infection-control, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Check OT equipment readiness and report any malfunction or shortage.
- Maintain OT registers, procedure records, and stock records.
- Ensure proper cleaning and readiness of the OT before and after each procedure.
- Follow patient safety protocols and assist with patient preparation and shifting as directed by the clinical team.

3. Coordination & Professional Conduct

- Coordinate between the reception,



doctors, nursing team, and OT staff.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and qualified communication.
- Follow company policies, clinical SOPs, and patient safety guidelines.
- Report emergencies, incidents, equipment issues, or supply shortages to the concerned senior immediately.

Required Qualifications

- 12th pass; a relevant diploma or certification in OT Technology is preferred.
- Candidates with a Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) will be preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with patient registration or billing software.
- Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and OT protocols.

Required Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, dermatology centre, or surgical setup preferred.
- Freshers with relevant OT training and strong communication skills may also apply.

Required Skills

- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Professional appearance and a courteous attitude.
- Basic computer and record-management skills.
- Knowledge of OT instruments, sterilization, and infection control.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate with the clinical team.
- Responsible, organized, and attentive to detail.

Working Conditions

- Working Days: 6 days per week
- Weekly Off: 1 day as per company policy
- Working Hours: As per the assigned duty roster

Important Note

The candidate must be comfortable handling both reception duties and OT responsibilities. Clinical and OT-related tasks must be performed only within the candidate’s qualifications, training, and authorized scope of practice.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
