Laboratory Technician

Location: Kshirsagar Laboratory, Pirangut, Pune

Job Summary

Kshirsagar Laboratory is looking for a dedicated and responsible Laboratory Technician to join our diagnostic team. The ideal candidate should have good technical skills, be patient-friendly, and be capable of handling laboratory samples accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Perform blood collection (venipuncture) for patients of all age groups, including newborns, children, adults, and elderly patients.
- Collect other clinical samples as per laboratory protocols.
- Process and prepare samples for testing, including centrifugation, aliquoting, labeling, and storage.
- Maintain proper sample identification and documentation.
- Follow infection control, biosafety, and quality assurance procedures.
- Assist in routine laboratory operations and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Coordinate with senior staff to ensure timely sample processing and reporting.





Requirements

- Candidate who hold Two Wheeler Driving License
- DMLT, BMLT, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in blood collection from babies, pediatric patients, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Good knowledge of sample processing and pre-analytical procedures.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel locally for home sample collection when required.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Punctual, honest, and committed to quality patient care.

Preferred

- Previous experience in a diagnostic laboratory.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality practices and patient handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
