Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Design & Development Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in drone design and development, mechanical design, and handling of electronic components. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3D printing, and experience in handling GeM tenders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop drones/UAV mechanical systems and components.
- Create and modify 2D and 3D designs, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Work on the integration and handling of antennas and electronic components in drone systems.
- Coordinate with electrical/electronics teams for proper integration of components.
- Develop prototypes and functional models using 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Conduct design modifications, testing, and improvements based on project requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, and other engineering documentation.
- Understand customer/project requirements and develop suitable design solutions.
- Handle and coordinate GeM (Government e-Marketplace) tender-related activities.
- Support preparation of technical documents, compliance documents, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for component development and procurement.
- Ensure designs meet required technical, quality, and project specifications.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Design & Development.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
- Positive working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in 3D modelling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Practical knowledge of 3D printing and prototyping.
- Knowledge of drone/UAV design and development.
- Basic understanding of antennas and electronic component integration.
- Experience in GeM tender handling will be highly preferred.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Required Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in drone design and development.
- Candidates with experience in Defence, UAV, aerospace, electronics integration, or government projects will be preferred.
- Should be capable of working independently as well as with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
