Key Responsibilities

- Route Survey
- Conduct detailed surveys for proposed transmission line routes.
- Identify and record existing roads, rivers, railway crossings, buildings, utilities, forests, and other obstacles.
- Assist in finalizing the most suitable transmission line alignment.
- Tower Location Survey
- Mark and establish tower locations as per approved profile and alignment drawings.
- Check tower coordinates, chainage, levels, and alignment.
- Carry out verification of tower locations before foundation work.
- Survey Instruments
- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS, Theodolite and other surveying instruments.
- Ensure instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Take accurate measurements and maintain survey records.
- Foundation Survey
- Provide accurate coordinates and reference points for tower foundations.
- Check foundation center points, excavation levels, dimensions, and orientation.
- Assist the civil team during foundation construction.
- Tower Erection Support
- Verify tower centerline, orientation, and location before erection.
- Check tower legs and foundation reference points.
- Provide necessary survey support during tower erection.
- Conductor/Stringing Survey
- Assist in determining sagging and stringing requirements.
- Check conductor clearance from ground, roads, buildings, railway lines, rivers, and other crossings.
- Provide survey data required for stringing activities.
- Documentation
- Prepare survey reports, field books, coordinate sheets, level sheets,



and measurement records.
- Maintain as-built survey data and tower location records.
- Update survey drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with design and project teams regarding survey discrepancies.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and contractors.
- Inform the project team about route obstructions, discrepancies, and site-related issues.
- Support the team in resolving alignment and tower-location problems.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience in Transmission Line / Power Line / Substation projects preferred.
- Positive knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/DGPS and surveying techniques.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and reading engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret transmission line profile, plan and alignment drawings.

Experience :-

2–5 years for Surveyor; 5+ years for Senior Surveyor, preferably in 132 kV / 220 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV transmission line projects.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
