Position: Audit Associate / Semi-Qualified / Article Assistant

Location: Mulund

Experience: 2 years and above

Role & Responsibilities

Statutory Audit

- Conduct statutory audits of companies under the Companies Act, 2013, in line with the Standards on Auditing (SAs) issued by ICAI
- Prepare audit documentation, including working papers, lead schedules and management representation letters
- Draft independent auditor's reports, CARO 2020 reports, and reports on Internal Financial Controls
- Prepare and review financial statements under Schedule III, applying Accounting Standards (IGAAP) or Ind AS as applicable

Tax Audit

- Carry out tax audits and prepare Forms 3CA/3CB/3CD under Section 44AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and the corresponding provisions of the Income-tax Act, 2025, as applicable
- Verify TDS compliance, disallowances and reporting clauses in the tax audit report.

Internal Audit & Advisory

- Carry out internal audits, identify control gaps,



and draft SOPs for assigned clients
- Coordinate with client management and present audit observations with practical recommendations

Preferred Candidate Profile

Mandatory

- Cleared CA Intermediate / IPCC
- Candidates based along the Central Line (Mumbai) or in Thane only

Skills & Knowledge

- Thorough understanding of the Standards on Auditing (SAs) issued by ICAI and how they apply in practice
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, Schedule III and CARO 2020
- Sound conceptual grounding in Accounting Standards (IGAAP); Ind AS exposure preferred
- Familiarity with Income-tax provisions, including TDS
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliations)
- Valuable to have: GST reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books) and experience with Tally or other ERPs
