Ithis Hospital, Malappuram, Kerala is looking for an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team.

Position: Staff Nurse – NICU
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant NICU experience
Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM
Registration: Valid Kerala Nursing & Midwifery Council registration
Location: Kizhakkethala, Malappuram, Kerala

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs and the clinical condition of newborns.
- Assist doctors during procedures and emergency situations.
- Manage and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors and other NICU equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.




- Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
- Support feeding, medication administration and routine newborn care.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and parents/attendants.
- Maintain NICU safety, cleanliness and professional standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience in NICU / Neonatal Care is mandatory.
- Good clinical knowledge and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including night duty.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible, compassionate and disciplined approach to patient care.

Salary: As per experience and qualification.
