TRINITi- Scaling new heights
Jhajjar
We are a Bengaluru-based deep-tech company developing software-defined, magnet-free electric motor systems. Its Virtual Magnet Synchronous Motor (VMSM) integrates motor architecture, power electronics and proprietary control algorithms, with applications spanning electric mobility, industrial systems, robotics, defence and cooling. The company states that it is scaling from active customer pilots toward production programmes.
ROLE PURPOSE
Take end-to-end ownership of the Jhajjar manufacturing facility and lead its transition from plant readiness and ramp-up into stable, scalable production. Own Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, People and overall plant performance while building a high-performance manufacturing culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, PPC, Stores, Logistics, EHS and supporting plant functions.
Translate business and customer requirements into production, capacity and operating plans.
Own plant performance across Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment
(SQPDCME).
Achieve production volumes, customer schedules, dispatch commitments and ramp-up milestones.
Establish robust processes, standard work, line balancing, takt/cycle-time discipline and production controls.
Drive OEE, throughput, productivity, first-pass yield, rejection, downtime and manufacturing-cost improvement.
Lead equipment installation, line commissioning, process validation and production ramp-up for new
programmes.
Work with Engineering/R&D on design-for-manufacturing, process development, prototype-to-production
transfer and engineering changes.
Ensure quality systems, traceability,
inspection, CAPA, RCA and customer complaint closure.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement.
Ensure preventive/predictive maintenance and equipment reliability.
Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain and Stores for material availability and inventory discipline.
Own plant budgets, manpower plans, operating costs and CAPEX proposals.
Ensure statutory, environmental, occupational-health and safety compliance.
Build and develop a strong cross-functional plant team with accountability, training and succession planning.
Act as senior plant interface for customers, auditors, suppliers, partners and senior management.
PREFERRED INDUSTRY BACKGROUND
Strong preference for EV manufacturing, EV powertrain, electric motors, motor controllers, power electronics or
related electrification products.
Automotive OEM, Tier-1/Tier-2 auto-component or high-volume electromechanical manufacturing experience
may also be considered.
Experience with motors, drives, controllers, e-axles, battery systems or complex electro-mechanical assemblies
is an advantage.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
Demonstrated plant or large production-function leadership.
Strong production planning, capacity management and shop-floor execution.
Automotive manufacturing and quality-system knowledge.
IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements preferred.
Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, RCA and CAPA knowledge.
Maintenance, tooling, process engineering and manufacturing-cost understanding.
Strong people leadership in rapid-scaling manufacturing environments.
KPIS
Safety and compliance
Production-plan adherence and on-time dispatch
OEE/productivity/capacity utilization
FPY, rejection, rework and customer quality
Manufacturing cost
Equipment uptime
Inventory discipline
Ramp-up/SOP/NPI milestones
People productivity and capability development
IDEAL CANDIDATE
A mature manufacturing leader combining shop-floor execution, business acumen and people leadership. The
preferred candidate will have successfully managed an automotive or EV plant, be comfortable in a greenfield/scale-up environment and be able to establish systems while delivering production.
BENCHMARKING NOTE
Scope is benchmarked against current automotive/EV plant leadership roles emphasizing end-to-end operations,
SQCDM/SQPDCME, production planning, quality, maintenance, supply chain, cost, CAPEX, EHS, people
leadership and new-product/ramp-up execution.
